My Ozzy is 6 months old and we still can't trust him. We went the last 2 weeks with no accidents but had one this morning. They are getting fewer and fewer. I'm hoping in the next few months we get there. Just keep taking Jake to the pad every few hours, reward with tons of treats and never scold for an accident you didn't catch him doing. He will have no idea what you are mad about if it's after the fact. You have to constantly watch him if he is loose and rush to the pad if you see an accident about to start. It gets tiresome but my hubby and I trade off watching him. I may be getting to the belly band point soon but refuse to give up hope yet !
