I have the breakaway cat collar with a bell & a tag with my digits. I got it at Petsmart. Dublin wears that ALL the time and a harness with rabies tag for when he's out.

The little plastic 'snap thingy' on the breakaway holds just fine for him. After a couple of month's use (it's adjustable) it still takes a firm tug to releases it. Dub doesn't fight a collar though. After bath time I just shake it and when he hears the jingle he comes running so I can put it back on him.

I like being able to hear where he is all the time, so I've gotten accustomed to the sound. Now I notice when I CAN'T hear him.
