Congrats Breny for finding a great place to shop and take the fur-kids. We have always shopped in malls with the girls, but we've always had them in the pet stroller when we do and may be one of the reasons we have never been ask to leave!
From what I have seen & experienced, they're not. I've never seen anyone take their dogs with them anywhere like they did when I lived in Cali. Dogs aren't allowed anywhere, even if they're in a little purse & they're small. Even at stores that don't carry food items, you still can't take your dog in with you. I've never seen a store that doesn't have a sign saying "No dogs allowed". True, there are a lot of dog parks here, but as for taking your bby with you when you go out, that's pretty much unacceptable. I would love to take my bbys with me when I go out, but I can't take them anywhere because it's just not allowed. In that aspect (as well as others) I really miss Cali. I used to take my Chi with me everywhere, even into places that served food like Starbucks or Jamba Juice, & no one cared that I brought her with me.
