We have a new 8 wk old female Yorkie that has been with us for 2 days. The breeder had her on Purina One which she has not really eaten much of since she has been with us. She seems to be drinking water, although not a lot in my estimation, even though she is urinating. She does seem to be sleeping quite a lot as well. Between her frequent naps she will play with toys and interact with the family, but then goes right back to sleep. Would y'all consider this normal behavior for an 8 wk old just introduced to a new home?? I grew up with Irish Setters, so this cute and quite lovable Yorkie is a new experience for me. Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
