I'm a flight attendant and years ago we used to layover in Savannah (my favorite l/o by the way) and we used to love to go to Mrs. Wilkes Boarding House for lunch. It was down home southern cooking served family style around large table with about 12 people. You passed all the dishes around like it was Thanksgiving!! The best food, totally fattening!! Don't know if it is still there though!
