I totally agree, and that's why we have never taken ours to fireworks. Jackson is a little bit frightened of thunder so I would imagine fireworks would scare him to death. Last year, we had a cookout at our house, then hubby and I stayed home with Jake rather than go to fireworks. He was a little nervous when neighbors were setting off fireworks, but we stayed inside with him and distracted him with toys and played with him, and he was fine.
