Anyways! I recently got a Yorkie puppy. Before I got him I have currently a Chihuahua&a cat. &before I got the cat I just had a Chihuahua. When we first got our cat (we got him as a kitten) my Chi was very curious about him&just wanted to play with him all the time. At first the cat was hissing&growling at my Chi, but after a few days they got used to each other&now they are the best of friends! If you're thinking of getting a cat, I would recommend getting a kitten because it'll be easier for the kitten to adjust to your dog than for a full grown cat to. I got my Yorkie about two weeks ago. My cat tolerates him. They don't play together or anything, but my cat has never been mean or aggressive towards my Yorkie puppy. I think he thinks my Yorkie is mildly entertaining, lol. My Chi&my Yorkie are getting along better&better each day. (My Chi is currently three years old.) Sometimes my Chi will snap at my Yorkie if he plays too rough with her (he's only eight weeks, so of course he wants to play all the time, lol), but she tolerates him for the most part&sometimes they play together. Good luck&I hope that I helped you out a little bit

Great advice and great experience! I know what you mean about friends and everything, I have a few friends that I went to highschool with that I still stay in touch with that still live back home (about a hour from here). They really irritate me though, I'm constantly trying to give ideas of things for us to do and they either never want to do them or they say they do then never follow through. Speaking of, one of them and I were supposed to go out for lunch one day this week and today she notifies me that we most likely won't because she made plans with other friends AFTER we had our plans. Makes you feel like total s**t how "friends" treat you. I've had lots of problems with feeling left out since I moved away from my hometown and it really gets the best of you sometimes. Things will hopefully eventually look up for both you and I though in the near future! Keep your head up as will I!
