Now, if you wan't to stay at the University of Phoenix&not go to a different school, then there's no problem, but if you want to transfer courses to a different school, I wouldn't go there. Check it out. They have practically every field you can think of&they show you the schools that offer the field you're looking for. But PLEASE check to see if the school is regionally accredited. Most schools are nationally accredited, but the regional accreditation is the best one&that's the accreditation you want. As for going to school online, I love it! It's so so easy&convenient. I can do it whenever I want. I also have a one year old daughter, a Yorkie puppy, a full grown Chihuahua&a full grown cat, so I have my hands full! Yet, I still have time to go to school online. I'm not going to lie - it IS a lot of work&studying - but it's really worth it&it's perfect for me because we can't afford daycare for my daughter. Plus there's no driving involved so you save a lot of money (&let's face it, these days who doesn't want to save gas money?). I hope I helped you! Good luck in your search for the perfect school for you.

The UOP is accredited and it's not just an online college, there are many campus sites that you can take classroom based classes in. They simply have the option (like many schools do) to take classes online. The only difference in UOP and your local school is that they have whole programs offered online. Your diploma doesn't say you took online classes, it only says UOP on it. That being said, there is an actual UOP in Arizona, and it's just like the University of Alabama, Florida or any other state. I got my degree in Curriculum and Instruction and the state of Alabama recognized my degree for teaching and they are very picky! I also have a friend who got her degree in Business Management from there also. It is a great school and I did a lot of research before going.
