I was just wondering it if is normal or standard procedure to remove dewclaws from Yorkshire Terrier puppies?

I noticed Britney and Brooklyn both have them on their front legs. I'm wondering if the groomer typically misses those when she trims their nails because they seem longer in length than their other nails; not dangerously long as to where they are hurting them- just longer.

They are getting groomed this week so I'll be sure to point them out to the groomer.
