Hi Cindy,
Yes, I know who the breeder is and I have her permission to re-home her.
I am working with the breeder to not put this little girl on an airplane and try to find her a good home here in S. California.
The family that purchased her raise large dogs and wanted an inside dog. The family did not fully realize that these little breeds have totally different needs than the bigger breeds. They realized that they could not meet the needs of a little house dog and asked the breeder (and me) to assist them in finding her the "right" home.
She is here with me now. She weights at 7 months, 6.5#. She has a silky coat and really nice coloration. She is up to date on her shots but has never been micro-chipped. I will be taking care of that tomorrow. It took her about 15 minutes to settle in with Team Furry. The family had a 6 year old and 8 year old children, so she is accustomed to children.
I will post pictures tomorrow.
My first concern for this little girl is that the home she goes to will be her forever home and that her furparents references' check out.
I applaud this family that made a choice and said--we made a mistake--and followed the rules of their contract and contacted their breeder. This story will have a happy ending and I appreciate any help or referrals the Biewer community wants to offer.
