The doctor must have a hospital list. This is staff that rounds for the practice. Some PCPs don't have rounding /hospital rights. Even if they don't they should be communicating with you and your family through them. Waiting for an emergentcare apt 2 days is wrong. Every doctors office has same day apts. I work in a doctors office. It's not like she has a cold,she needs to be cleared for a surgery. At this point,I would call and speak to the office manager and tell them your situation. Someone dropped the ball with this,if you don't get results...down the road switch doctors,it's never too late. Good luck..It really P@#$ me off when someone puts there issues or needs infront of a pts. Bad Medicine!!
