im sorry you had to go through this. no matter how careful we think were being sometimes accidents happen. dont beat yourself up about it, good thing you reacted quickly and your babys fine!
when my beagle was a puppy she swallowed a ball of foil. she finally threw it up but it scared the heck out of me.
