Is the Maxtor drive connected via USB? To test if it's Vonage that is screwing it all up, you may want to disconnect your computer from the Internet router and then see if the Maxtor drive shows up or not.
You may also try to unplug the Maxtor drive, reboot your computer, then plug it back in after the computer reboots.
You can also try to unplug your Vonage connection, and see if your network comes back or not. If it does, then it definitely is Vonage that is causing the problem. Vonage tech support should help you through it if they are the problem. Good luck! |
