Difficult to say if it had anything to do with the ice cube. Probably not, IMO. I'd just watch him and see if there is any other sign of distress. Watch his activity level, and whether there is any more vomiting or any diarrhea. He may just have eaten too fast or too much.

If he seems lethargic, or dehydrated (check his gums, they should be pink), if there is more vomit or diarrhea, you should see your vet.
