yes you can cut them with any trimmer - it's always best to go IN the direction of the hair - On the ears never use the clipper on the edge of the ear - just go WITH the hair so the little ear skin doesn't get in between the teeth of the blades...I know some people who did the edges and took chunks off their babies ears - I'm really careful to make sure the ears are flat and I just trim upwards...never on the sides
