I'm so sorry I'm just seeing this now!
Basically to make a really simple bow, you just cut a piece of ribbon and criss cross the ends over the center.
Then you would take a needle and thread and go around the center part which draws it in, sew on two tiny elastic bands to the back and voila you have a bow!
I realize this is really confusing so if you'd like please pm me and I can try to take some pictures of me making one to show you
