Yorkies have a tendency to be long and thin which makes it hard to buy "off the rack" since most store bought clothes are way too short if you get them to fit their girth. If you get the clothing to fit their length, the little clothes will swallow their bodies!  |
This is SO true! I am having this problem with Jaya. She is long but thin. I am lucky with Jenna because she is stocky -so she can fit into stuff very easily.
I would buy some stuff that fits her now, but i would wait to buy the expensive stuff. Seriously, just be patient. I wasted so much money with Jaya... with Jenna I was smarter, and waited til just recently to buy her stuff.
Custom made is definitely the way to go. But I totally understand.. its so hard when there's so much cute stuff out there. Good luck!
