If he is such a baby , 13 wks, how do you know he has food allergies? SD is an excellent food as well, it is recomended by most vets, so it is better to keep him eating something he likes than risk having an hypoglicemia episode that will mess up his insuline levels and cause yet another more serious problem.... Are you in closed contact with the breeder? You should be... breeders know their puppies really well and have the "routines" to get them to eat and transition.... it will make it easir for you to know and i am sure that a loving and caring breeder will feell very good to have you going to them for this kind of advice...
Good luck !!!
I used to think SD was a good food too, but it has corn and wheat in it as well as by products, that is not the definition of good food. The vet says he has allergies and the food could be causing it, he suggested for me to get food without corn and wheat in it. (Even though he gave me the SD he said that it can cause allergies in some dogs).

Anyways.....I took the Wellness back to the pet store (thank goodness it has a good return policy!). I now got him Canidae and he likes it just fine. So I think he will be good now. I'm mixing it with the SD for a few days to help on his tummy. Then the rest of the SD I'm giving to my dad to feed his many beagles.
