I use Wahl clippers and love them - we have the large one for humans - and small ones for their ears - also - I use a ladies personal trimmer for my girls faces and under their eyes - NO NOISE at all and it gently trims and is very easy to use - they don't take off clumps -
After the BAD groomings my girls had - I decided to do it myself and save the 75 bucks - I couldn't do worse than what I paid for that's for sure....
so for beginners like me - they're very easy to use and quiet for the girls....
Heres the pics - I got these at Sally's Beauty - all under 20 bucks
1st for ears and under and around feet & butts
2nd & 3rd I use on faces...under eyes and any stray hairs on face
When I started grooming Cheri who was very young when I began doing this myself - I used a towel to wrap her in while I worked on her feet and ears to make her feel more secure and it really helped with wiggling till she got used to the clippers -
I would just do a little one day.....then a little another day ...after a few times - they'll realize it won't hurt them..
