I'm not a breeder and don't know if I ever will be, but I read this section a lot because I've found some great information.

We all have one thing in common here - we all love our yorkies! I love reading and learning everything I can about them. I would never put one of my dogs in jeopardy by breeding without a clue of what I'm doing. Unfortunately, there's a lot of people out there who just want to breed for the experience, or they want their dog to have the experience. Those are not reasons to breed. There's so much involved, and it gets lost on so many.

I've seen threads where someone asks for advice, but then they want to be argumentative or they find every excuse why they can't do what was advised by EXPERIENCED, REPUTABLE breeders. I think that's when the thread starts to take a bad turn because you just lose patience with the people who want to do it their way and don't want to be told anything different. And, that's on any thread, not just in the breeder section. Sometimes you just have to be blunt, and I think the bluntness is misinterpreted as being rude to some.

You can tell the difference in the people who really want to learn and really want help and the ones who want you to tell them what THEY want to hear.
