I'm always happy to hear when they CAN swim - but many panic when they hit the water...... good thing you were right there .....and I'm so glad everything turned out ok when you turned over.
For safety reasons will I say this - yorkies can easily drown - it's so sad when we hear about those stories, so it's always good to have a life vest on your yorkie no matter if they can swim or not ....unless someone is right there watching
the whole time ....I don't want to sound preachy - I just want ALL our yorkies to be safe around the water.
but I would invest in a life jacket for your baby -
