When we are looking to buy something used, we always look at Craigslist first. We've bought a fish tank (plus ALL the fish - wasn't really looking for fish too, but it was a package deal
) and a few other things, not a problem.
We sold our fifth wheel travel trailer on CL to the first people who emailed us to see it.
My daughter and son-in-law regularly use CL to buy and sell. We all have had no problems - and I think Villette has some excellent suggestions on how to go about selling!
