Animal Smiley 036 Protect from summer heat...?

Hey everyone

So this is the first summer that my girls have ever experienced... and I needed some tips...

Today has been the hottest day of the year (30 degrees celsius)...which is very hot for BC..... and the girls have been acting very weird

We don't have A/C, but I had all the windows and doors open, which kept the house comfy. They have seemed lethargic... had only 2 hyper play-times which is much less than their full day play-times. Jaya just wants to sleep and she seems irritable. I've made sure there is always water around, and they've been guzzling it down like crazy.... Jenna refuses to sleep on anything but the tiled floor, and she doesnt have any desire to eat (which is shocking because she is an eater!)

What can I do to make life easier for them because its only going to warmer... I really hope our whole summer doesnt turn out like today with the girls... Will they adjust? What can I do to help them?
