Sorry that your love and care wasn't enough. You did your best, though. We have a Latino Cockatiel that is about 13 yrs. old. During the day she is not locked in her cage and spends most of the day sitting on top of her it. Periodically something outside her window scares her and she flies around the room and sometimes misjudges where to land. Old age is setting in. My furbabies are curious as to why she is there but they leave her alone. It might have to do, though, that she spreads her wings and hisses at them. Again, I am so sorry it did not turn out well.
