I take zeus & augie (not both at the same time) to pretty much any store. I keep them in the carrier. I actually took him out at Target to try on one of the sweaters they had around late february. Saved me a trip back to return it
I've taken them into Wegmans (local grocery store), the checkout girl was like, is that a dog? I said yes, what are they gonna do throw me out, I was already checking out. I opened the bag, and she petted Augie, then the custmoer behind me came over to see him. It was fun.
I used to take Zeus everywhere. Restaurants, grocery stores, shopping stores, pretty much anywhere except a mall (i'm usually there too long). As long as I don't advertise it, no one knows. The carrier can easily pass as a large purse.
Forgot to mention, I took Augie with me to Walgreens (pharmacy) late at night (around 1am) I shoved him in my coat, the pharmacist knew right away and he wanted to see him, it was so cute.
