Lol, but it IS quite boring here! There's not much to do unless you're a really rich tourist
The only thing you can really do here is go to the beach (as of late it hasn't been sunny, so that one's out), go to Starbucks, or go out to eat. To be honest, there really isn't a lot to do ... plus I just don't feel safe going anywhere anyways. Contrary to popular belief, the locals here (native Hawaiians that is) are EXTREMELY rude, condescending&racist, especially towards people who are white. My best friend has had many Hawaiians come up to her&tell her to "Go back to the mainland where you belong"!!! If you go into "their" parts of Hawaii (which is pretty much everywhere that is not a military base) you will be asked to leave&never come back. Eek, it's horrible! So I guess that's why I'm bored a lot ... can't really go anywhere if someone is going to tell me to leave asap! The only safe place to go is Honolulu, but it's such a pain in the a** to drive down there, so I never go down there anyways. Lol, sorry this is kind of a rant here ... I just feel like there's this false image of how Hawaii is when really it's nothing like that at all!
