At least the poor little thing is at peace now and isn't suffering. Stuck in a pet taxi not being able to fly was no life for him/her anyway We did try, we did everything we could....but it just didn't make it
P.S. - My Peaches ended up killing another one while we were gone today I walked out in my backyard and not to be graphic, but she had already eaten most of it. I just don't know what to do with her anymore. She kills everything I know it's just instinct I guess, but we are just so sick of it. I am tired of going out there and finding dead birds, squirrels, etc. It's just sad and depressing I wish she would stop this!! But I know she never will
Thank you all again so much for all of your help and concern, I appreciate it greatly |
awwww Brooke, How sad , I'm so sorry, but you did everything in your power to save the baby dove and bless you for that.
Not sure what to do about peaches killing birds, cause your right, it's the nature for them to hunt.
I will never forget, when our Husky killed my daughters pet bunny, it was so heart breaking.
