Of course it is better because it costs much much more and has more quality features.
Lots of people use cameras for lots of different purposes and have lots of different budgets. I think that was the point of this thread, to help the OP make the decision about the camera that works best for her. At least that is the way it started out. |
I'm sorry I offended you! I was just merely stating that I love my digital SLR. My point&shoot Fujifilm IS a great camera, but I just get so much better pictures with my Canon SLR. I'm really sorry.

Anyways, if the OP is still looking for a great point&shoot, I would recommend any camera by Fujifilm. In my opinion they have the best retainment (is that a word, lol?) of colors, especially greens&blues. I've had beautiful pictures come out of my Fujifilm point&shoot. It's really easy to use, the instruction manual is really straightforward&it has a lot of nifty features, such as taking pictures at nighttime

It's a FinePix E900&I believe it cost me around 250$. Great price for a great quality camera! Again, I did not mean to offend you ... Sometimes I guess I just want everyone to have the camera that I have because how could they not love it like I do? I realize that everyone is different, so next time I'll just keep my big mouth shut, lol.
