Sounds like they might not be the breeders but brokering in some way. I can't imagine even a bad breeder not being concerned when someone calls them and says one of their pups had parvo. Anyone should know how devastating this disease is. Brokering might explain their indifference but in any case they sound like awful people. Sorry to the OP for your loss. I hate to hear of any dog going through something so terrible and so easily prevented. The only excuse for parvo to me would be that someone contaminated with it came to their home but still, if the pup had been vaccinated, wouldn't there be enough immunity there to ward it off? I could see it happening, maybe to a young pup but not to one old enough to be placed in a home. Shocking to hear of this, and very sad.
