Layla had kennel cough.. sounds just like that. The antibiotics are only to keep it from becoming pneumonia. Kennel cough is like the cold for us.. it has to run its course. Layla's took over a month to go away... i found that using a humidifier by her crate at night REALLY helped with the nightime coughing.. she would be up all night coughing. Hang in there.. it will go away. Layla was also vaccinated for kennel cough.
