I'm sure you are right, but you see, this camera is far too expensive for my budget, it does way more than I really need it to do, it is more complicated than I am comfortable with (I'm NOT in school for photography), it uses lithium rechargeable batteries, and it does not have the zoom power that I need. Thus, even though it is the perfect camera for you, it is not the perfect camera for me and it is a bit disconcerting for you to say it is far better than any Fujifilm point and shoot. I actually don't have a Fujifilm point and shoot, but if I did and I liked it, I might take offense at your statement. Of course it is better because it costs much much more and has more quality features.
Lots of people use cameras for lots of different purposes and have lots of different budgets. I think that was the point of this thread, to help the OP make the decision about the camera that works best for her. At least that is the way it started out.
