I would get a floating alarm for the pool while you are there. If he falls into the water the alarm will go off and you can go and make sure he is o.k. I had one of my yorkies drown in a neighbors pool because he couldn't get up on the side of it, so I am probably more sensitive about the subject. It is better to be safe than sorry.
