I don't have other dogs, but Archie does have two Golden Retriver "girlfriends" that belong to good friends of mine. He definitely holds his own with them and even spent a week with them when I went away on a trip. My friends reported that they all did great together and that their (60-pound) dogs were very mindful of his small size. The older dog basically ignored him, but the younger one, who is just a little minx, was more playful (though my friends were careful to monitor her interactions with Archie) Archie is very quick and gets out of the way fast! He likes to get up on a couch or chair (at eye-level with the Goldens) and do his little "flirty dance."
