My boys have always had access to the entire house. Benni is and has been 100% potty trained since I got him (with one short relapse after a hospitalization), but Garett is totally pee pad trained. But the last few weeks he has started occasionally lifting his leg and actually peeing when I take the boys for a walk and tonight for the first time ever he actually did his poop outside. You would have thought I won the lottery the way I was gushing at him. LOL After Benni's OD on meds (my DD left out) and his hospitalization, my whole apartment is entirely puppy proofed, between the OD situation and the spill a whole ink pen on my sand colored carpet, it was an absolute necessity to totally "baby/puppy" proof my apt. Bathroom door is always closed, nothing left on the floor, toys at easy access (laundry basket), cabinets and closets always closed fully.
