HELP!!!! My new mother, Lily, just had two puppies Mother's Day evening. She is driving me crazy!. If I leave her penned up with her babies she cries that she wants out with everyone else. If I let her out, she runs around like a chicken with its head cut off. Its like nothing makes her happy. She's good with the pups but always seems so anxious. I hold, talk and pet her but she still cries.

Last night, I didn't think I'd ever get to go to sleep. My 11 year old son slept on the floor next to her just so he could get some sleep.

She will only eat if I hand feed her, she won't go outside to potty, and I haven't found any accidents in the house. (My husband did tell me that he let her out when he got home from work and she ran out a little ways on the deck, went to the bathroom, then ran right back in.)

Can someone please give me some advice that I could try? I hate to see her this way.

i have a superyard gate thing.. it helps a lot..make a gate enclosure around her crate.. keeps other dogs out and she has room to roam
