We have an inground pool and both of my girls love to swim. They will go out in the pool on a float and then jump off and start swimming. The deep end is 8 feet but I try to keep them in the shallow end. It scares me when they get in the deeper water. Our shallow end is about 3 feet deep. I always try only to have one of them in the water at a time and I try to be there with them. Hopefully, this year we are getting life preservers for the girls. I don't know how Lucy will take to the water. We have only had her since March. She hates getting a bath.
