We got an email and they are considering our application!!
The Yorkie we are interested in is 3 yrs old and 13 pounds..very close to Rigger's age and size. The photo looks like Rigger too. They look like they are the same color.
We now know that he was surrendered by his original owners because they were having trouble house training him.
Now I am worrying about the effect this will have on Rigger...he is such a baby!! He is our go everywhere kid. I think he will like a playmate, he is socialized to other dogs and the daycare I take him to when I travel to Macon for business has a Yorkie room that he plays in, but he is one happy pup when he sees mommy coming to get him!!
I feel like an expectant parent...would you believe that I am an adoption coordinator for Georgia's children!! Now I can imagine how the families I work with feel!! |
