I went through the same thing with MacTavish. We started calling him "Ralph". I contacted my Vet and was told to give him Children's Gravol. I felt the same way about drugging him but I was forced to when my Mother became ill and I had to travel a lot. After three trips of travelling 2 1/2 hrs both ways, he was fine and I don't have to use it anymore. Hopefully, someone else can suggest an herb comparable to Gravol. You might also want to try very short trips, just around the block and then start making each trip longer. Best of Luck!
