I'm soo glad your going to talk to him first! I can't imagine how hard it will be, but when you look back on this I'm sure you'll be more satisfied then if you were to go to animal control first. I'll keep you and the family in my prayers. If it's too hard for you to go over there, maybe try calling, or writing an e-mail or letter. Let us know how it goes.
