When I bred Sunshine with a show breeder's dog, she had several in her home loose, but also had crates such as these in an indoor garage converted to a kennel... very clean.. heated/air conditioned/ with a play area... and the door opened to the family room. and of course the females in heat and ready to whelp were in thier own seperate crates and the breeding males were in thier own seperate crates.. not mistreated.. NOT caged up 24/7... I would have to look at all the photos before saying this is not a good breeder
