I have decided it is time to get Layla a carseat. She is not happy unless she is laying down on my lap, but I know that's completely not safe. When she was a baby I tried having her in a travel crate but she was NOT having any of that. I drove 4 and a half hours with her screaming... not whimpering or crying, but SCREAMING, and I thought I just can't do that anymore. I know it would have been better if I had just kept up with it but I didn't have the patience.
Anyway, I know she is nervous in a car to begin with and she's not happy unless she's able to be touching me at all times. So I feel like being in the backseat is not an option. I've looked and I don't think I can turn off my passenger airbag. I also can't find a console carseat for a dog of her size... she's about 9 lbs. What can I do?
