I'm not really sure! I adopted her from the pound when she was 5-6 wks old. the previous owner had dropped the whole litter of 9 pups at the shelter when they were 3 wks old b/c the mom was pure pit but the pups weren't and they couldn't make any money off of them. when she was younger we would joke that she was a 'Chiapit' (chihuahua/pit mix) b/c she was soooo tiny... only 4 lbs at 4 mnths old. She was a really sickly puppy and ended up being the only dog from the litter to survive. Once we got her completely well and growing about 9 mnths she shot up.. shes only45 lbs though and mostly muscle so shes still on the smaller size for a dog.
