I crate trained Coco for over a month. It worked great for her but there were sooo many times that I had to clean poop or pee from her crate. So I opted for gating. At about 4.5 months, I started putting a baby gate in my vanity area, with her crate (took the door off to avoid accidents), food, pads, and water, and toys.Worked wonderfully for me. But I must say Coco never even stepped in the pee or poo. She stayed away from it. Why not try taking him out every 45 min-1 hour instead. |
