I think we got her too confused taking her to the hospital and then bringing her here to the rehab center. Barb isn't sure, but I think we shouldn't drag her out again. As much as I loved seeing her, it seems to me that it is stressing her too much. I can call her on my cell and talk to her. That worked when she was first in the hospital. I don't want her to get all confused and upset!

As difficult as it may seem, Susie, it does sounds like she becomes confused and stressed. Perhaps you can space out your physical visits although this could be part of her recovery. Up day/down day. Obviously, she is responding to you, and gives the both of you comfort.

I do know that when I was separated from Sophie, she would be physically ill. Yorkies and stress go "hand and hand".

You will find the answer and know what is best for the both of you. Do hope you are feeling stronger and each day bring improvement in your healing.
