 Adopting a "rescue" Yorkie
We have decided that we are ready to add another Yorkie to our family. We have Rigger and are totally in love with him and he just loves to play with other pups. He is two years old now. We were delighted with the breeder we got him from and would get another puppy from her in a heartbeat, however, we have been looking into the possibility of adopting a "rescued" Yorkie. I completed an application to adopt yesterday. Does anyone have any experience with the process? What can we expect? Is this a bad idea since the Yorkies are older and the background may not be the best?
