Suzi had never even been to the vet: mad: ! She was a champ though! The vet told me to start the vaccines over because the kind she got is not as effective as the ones they give at a vets. SO Suzi had a shot. The vet also told me that you can't over vaccinate. That was my fear when he told me to do them again.
Suzi was just fine too. She weighs 3.5 lbs And healthy. She is actually 10 weeks old. She has an enormous amount of energy and plays hard, sleeps hard .
Suzi has barked too a little, and I have heard her growl. Very cute though .
She loves her toys and is starting to chew on everything. I am so glad I took her to the vet when I did. I have her on a puppy package where everything is paid for up to 4 months. Not if she gets ill though, just reg. visits and shots. |
I am glad Suzi did just fine. I did not realize she is a newborn.
I was surprised to read that you cannot over vaccinate a dog. This is not what others have been telling me, and this little girl is only ten weeks old.
I am not a vet though, so I am super glad that all went well.
Go Suzi!
