Does he go outside or use pee pads? If he uses the pads, that's an easy one. If he goes outside, just go with him and watch him. When he goes, pick it up with a baggie. Find out if your vet's office lets you drop it off anytime. It's pretty easy to get a stool sample. Mine always go after they eat. They are on the same feeding schedule everyday, so they always go around the same time.
I have had many stool tests myself, and they have always told me that if I can't bring it in within three hours to drop it off, then it can be frozen. I'm not sure if that applies to dogs, but I don't see why not. I would call the vet and ask though. |
