Maybe he was claiming you as his territory? I have no idea why some dogs do this. My moms dog, the first time he lifted his leg was on my friend, and Rocky even went through a phase for a couple of days that whenever my moms dog laying down, Rocky would walk up to him and lift his leg on the top of his head! I know it's not right, and very disgusting, but after getting Rocky to stop I had to laugh. Hopefully this was a one time thing for Walker and he won't do it again, but if you see him about to do it again, catch him before he does it!
