Yes I know what you mean and people ask me all the time. I never put any topnots in. I did 1x when they were babies, but TJ could smell the rubberband from a mile away and he launched on Roxy to get it out of her hair, so that was the end of that.

I used to take them to the groomers when they were young for about a year just to 'clean' up their faces. Since no topnots, they would shave down the center of their noses and sorta going up into their eyebrows, so I guess by doing this when they were young for a good period of time, their hair got trained to go that way (I think) - if this isn't the case, then I have know idea, but both of the hair seems to lay flat and back, Roxy's hair does it better. TJ has very thick and fine hair and he has lots of body in it, 1 day after a bath and he shakes his head out to look like a lion (hehehehehe)
