He will pick out all the puppy chow and leave the Nutro. Yesterday, after he had picked out the puppy chow and left the lamb and rice, I didn't add any more puppy chow to see if he would finally eat it. No luck! So this morning, I relented and gave him puppy chow because he hadn't eaten anything.

Tell me how I can make the switch, if possible, without starving the poor baby.

Sue, my suggestion is to mix the food with your puppy chow. I feed my two California Natural lamb and rice. I have been having trouble with Jack. He has been having diarrhea so the vet sugessted I switch him to a rice and lamb formula. My vet really did not know much about innova, californa natural. He is used to pushing the commerical foods. If you look at some of the fillers they put into some of the foods it will make you want to change the food. Researching it definitly opened my eyes. So I switched. Its worth it to me it really doesnt cost much more either.
